Cancellations, Exchanges + Damages

Assinewe Jewelry has a no refund/cancellation policy. Due to the made-to-order nature of our business, many orders begin processing immediately. We are happy to answer any sizing, care, or materials questions you may have to ensure you're purchasing the right piece of jewelry, before you purchase!

If your item arrives damaged, please email photos and your order number to assinewejewelry@gmail.com within 48 hours. If your order arrived damaged due to mishandling by Canada Post, please include images of the mailer box. However, after 48 hours we are no longer liable for any breakage caused by the customer.  

Shipping Information

Please allow up to 14 days to process your order as most of our products are made-to-order. We use Canada Post for shipping, please be sure to track your shipping using your tracking number provided. 

I entered the wrong shipping address!

Please message us as soon as you can if you enter an incorrect address! Please ensure that you enter the correct address when you order your earrings, as we are NOT liable for your package as soon as it leaves us! If your package is returned to us via RTS, we can either refund you for the total cost of your order minus your shipping cost, or you may remit payment to ship to a new address.

What if my package is lost?

Assinewe Jewelry is not responsible for items that are lost by the mail carrier or by any shipping service. If you feel your package is lost or got stolen please contact Canada Post as soon as possible. If your package is marked delivered, lost, delayed, or unscanned, refunds of any kind will not be issued.

Where are my order update emails?

You will receive 4 automated emails or texts in this order, Order Confirmation, Shipment Confirmation, Out For Delivery, and Delivered. If you check out with only your phone number, you will receive texts, as there is no email on file for you. We're happy to update your account with your active email address, and all you need to do is email us with your full name, and billing or shipping address. 

Pick-up Instructions

Pick-up is available at 3280 Bloor St W (Islington TTC Station/Bloor Islington Place). Communication works best by email or Instagram to confirm a day & time to meet.

Can I wear your jewelry if I am Non-Indigenous? 

Yes!! Supporting Indigenous artists is cultural appreciation and it helps us to reclaim and reconnect with our culture. Our earrings are not regalia. 

Custom and personalized orders 

Visit our Custom Beaded Florals listing for custom beadwork. 

For special requests on our clay pieces, we are more than happy to accommodate a request for a particular style in another colour (ie. purple, nude, black) if we have the clay available. We can also accommodate requests for the finding material (ie. gold, stainless steel, sterling silver) if there is an allergy or preference. Please leave the request in the special instructions on the checkout page.
