Do you take beadwork orders?
Yes! Custom orders are now available every Monday at 12PM EST.
What are your findings made of?
Our findings are always listed in the description of the product. We use hypoallergenic sterling silver findings for the beaded earrings. All stud findings for the clay earrings are hypoallergenic stainless steel.
If you have a preference of type of hook or silver/gold, please let us know and we can switch the findings out.
Can I wear your pieces if I am non-Indigenous?
Yes, supporting Indigenous artists is cultural appreciation and it helps us to reclaim and reconnect with our culture. Our earrings are not regalia.
Order Cancellations & Returns
Assinewe Jewelry has a no refund/cancellation policy. After a piece has been ordered the creation process has already begun the moment your order has been processed. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please allow 7-10 days to process your order as most of our products are made-to-order. We use Canada Post for shipping, please be sure to track your shipping using your tracking number provided.
What if I gave the wrong shipping address?
If you have provided an incorrect address and your order has not been shipped yet, we will do our best to update your order with the correct address. However, if your order has already shipped we are not responsible. A $5 fee will be charged for your items to be sent to you again.
What if my package is lost?
Assinewe Jewelry is not responsible for items that are lost by the mail carrier or by any shipping service. If you feel your package is lost or got stolen please contact Canada Post as soon as possible. If your package is marked delivered, lost, delayed, or unscanned, refunds of any kind will not be issued.
What if my package was returned to the sender?
If your package is returned to us for any reason, you will be responsible for the package to be sent again. We will email you an invoice for the price of the return shipping label. Please check all addresses before submitting your order.
In the instance when your package is sent back to us because of an insufficient address provided by the customer, we will charge a resend fee. Please double check all addresses before placing an order. In the case you would not like your package sent back, we charge a restocking fee of $6 CAD. The fee will be deducted from your order refund amount total.
What if my jewelry breaks?
If jewelry is damaged upon arrival due to a defective piece or damaged during shipment, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence in order for us to send you a brand new piece. However, after 48 hours we are no longer liable for any breakage caused by the customer.
Pick-up is available at 3280 Bloor St W (Islington TTC Station/Bloor Islington Place). Communication works best by email or Instagram to confirm a day & time to meet. Face mask or face shield MUST be worn.
